Biorhythm compatibility readings are a measure of how close your various biorhythm patterns match to those of someone else - usually a current or potential partner. You will find biorhythm compatibility tests available on most biorhythm websites. What you usually get are compatibility tests for the three main biorhythm readings of physical, emotional and intellectual and often an overall composite of the three. You will also occasionally find compatibility tests on other types of websites, most commonly dating and relationship type websites. It is usually not made clear that these compatibility tests are more often than not based on biorhythm compatibility tests. There is absolutely no problem with this but it is useful to know if they really do measure how compatible you are to someone else.
Biorhythm readings are most often split into the three primary types of physical, emotional and intellectual and it is a simple matter to calculate the difference between two biorhythm curves. What you are measuring is the phase difference between the curves and providing the answer as a percentage between 0 and 100%, 0 being completely incompatible and 100% being completely compatible. You most likely know what a biorhythm curve looks like (if not go and get one now, it takes a few seconds). Imagine then two curves of the same type drawn on the same graph. The difference between them is the gap between where they each cross the zero line for the first time in the same direction - a gap of nothing means the curves are 100% identical whereas a gap that is half the length of one cycle means the curves are 0% identical.
My problem with this notion of compatibility is the old saying, opposites attract. It is surely too simplistic to calculate compatibility in this way as relationships are more complex than this - or are they? Have you ever been in an intensely physical relationship that you felt lacked any depth on an emotional or intellectual level. The physical biorhythms may have been closely matched but the other two not so.
It is really difficult to come to a meaningful conclusion on whether or not biorhythm compatibility works so perhaps it is better to leave it to observation of past relationships. I have conducted biorhythm compatibility tests on the few people with whom I have enjoyed a relationship and from my observation they have all hit a minimum of 65% overall compatibility. Further analysis of the three biorhythm readings of physical, emotional and intellectual have been surprisingly accurate of my recollection of the relationships with these individuals. Of course, the nature of these observations are just that, observations rather than scientific measurement.
